That's why we provide refugees and immigrants with the knowledge, training, and resources they need to build successful businesses.

Office of Labor Standards (OLS) is mandated to implement the City's labor standards for Minimum Wage, Paid Sick and Safe Time, Wage Theft, Fair Chance Employment (limiting the use of conviction and arrest records in employment decisions), Secure Scheduling, The Hotel Employees Health and Safety Initiative, Domestic Workers Ordinance, Commuter Benefits Ordinance, and other laws that the City may enact in the future.

Offers business information assistance and training opportunities. Provides free access to valuable research tools with information about markets, companies, customers and more.

Seattle's Office of Economic Development (OED) supports entrepreneurs that help drive the economy and are the connective tissue of the social fabric in Seattle. They provide tailored business assistance through our OED advocates and valued community partners.

Seattle Made connects manufacturers, makers, and producers to each other and the resources they need to thrive! Membership is open to manufactures who produce a product line, have at least one full-time employee (yourself included), and offer products through one or more retailers. Membership is free with a one time application fee. Benefits include full page profile in an online directory, use of the Seattle Made logo, participation in exclusive sales, promotional and networking events, access to member only communications platform and one-on-one consultations!
